Hello Everyone,
Autumn’s here, bringing a new crispness to the air, shorter days with deeply colored skies and beautiful eye popping colors – no matter the weather. Rain and chill have also visited us, and that has me busy in the studio creating several new pieces of jewelry.
Some colorful Ethiopian Opals stand out when combined with mixed metal pieces using silver and gold in black & white finishes, and I’m playing with die struck textures finished with the keum boo process.
A colorful new warp of chenille scarves is now on the loom; this one’s inspired by my friend Bobby’s photo, Sunrise in Deansboro. Much more to follow!
While it’s certainly “Craft Fair” season here, this year I’m skipping the usual circuit. That means no local shows for me, so it’s a great time for our popular Lily “Studio Sale” here, where many new pieces not yet on our website will be available here first! Plan to join us on:
Saturday, October 22, 2016
10:30am — 5:30pm
It’s an enjoyable shopping experience whether you’re looking for that unique “something” for yourself, or thinking about gifts for others. Admission is free, the atmosphere is relaxed, with music, light refreshments, and so much to look at.
Bring a friend, and spread the word – and I hope to see you then!
Best to you all,
Joan
